Spring Cleanup with a Snow Shovel
Many have been asking if you can use you’re snow shovel for your yearly spring clean up, well the answer is yes! Spring-cleaning is fun and one of the many areas of cleanup is the outside portion of your home. When cleaning out the garage for example think about the basic tasks that need to be accomplished. First, getting all the junk out! Second, get hand tools and gardening equipment organized. Lastly, getting all the dirt and debris into one pile. Can a snow shovel help with this, of course!
Use the following steps:
- Clear area to be swept
- Sweep area into small piles
- With help have one person hold the snow shovel in front of the pile, have the other person broom the pile into the shovel and scoop.
- After the small pile has been shoveled, empty the debris into a large trash can.
This simple and easy method has been used for some time now, yet more people don’t think to use a snow shovel for this use! Did you also know you can use the snow shovel in the garden? Well, a few folks have figured out that using the snow shovel in the garden is a quick and easy way to collect piles of leaves, tree debris and even scooping mulch! Remember, the snow shovel can be used in many different ways; spring cleanup is one of them!
